Wonder and humor, I'm pretty good. Horror, terror, bad thing (tm) not so much. I know some of it needs to be there, for good conflict, and excitement!!!, but I think my imagination is too vivid, so I don't want to think about it and write it down! So far I've mostly been handling it off screen...like sex scenes. Gotta get better, though.

Hm. Gut feel? Oh, yeah! Adams Family vibes. Thought I've never seen it, I get the impression that The Mummy might fall into that category, too. Possibly some Southern Gothic style stories or novels. I think anything that is grimbright (vice grimdark) could potentially qualify.
