Funny because at about the 35-ish percent mark of Gold and Fire 2, I have a character who has been <name> since chapter 1. In the adult book that I'll be second drafting once I'm done with that, nearly every character was named from interstate exit signs. 😆
There's one exit sign I pass often on I-20 that was just screaming to be a character, and she seemed to fit into this one. So the other ones just naturally formed around her.
I feel like there should be an additional question after that, "Did you rise from the grave as a mockery of life?" because, y'know, sometimes it takes more than death to stop you...

You can find some interesting ones in an old cemetery. I like the odder interstate exit signs for alien races.

I love the flow chart! It's so true!
And I am very definitely a novelist.
