Fascinating. You did say $100K for a two story house on 1/8 acre? Most Americans would find that cheap, but it’s expensive for Chile? I’d like to learn more about the country.
Looking at some house listings - I think I may be misremembering - the houses we saw were on plots that were more like 1/16 of an acre. The average income in Chile is under $25k USD, or around half of average for the US... so it's kind of the equivalent of a $200k townhouse on 1/16 of an acre in the US, I think. If I'm getting my numbers correct.
Great perspectives. I love all the pictures. I've always wanted to do missions abroad but have settled for local. My father did several missions trips to the high mountain region on the Pacific coast of Mexico. The area was mostly Indian. He loved the people and their simplicity to believe Christ.
Glad you're going to build on “Blue as Sky, Black as Sin." That's a great story.

Hmm I always assumed you were LDS.
Understandable - I do have quite a few LDS friends, especially in my writing circles.
At this point, in writers circles, I just assume they are all LDS, until proven otherwise. ;)
