November is just around the corner, and you know what that means - it’s time for NaNoWriMo. I’ve done that once or twice, and banging out those 1667 words every day can absolutely be a challenge! If that kind of commitment seems overwhelming, but you still want to participate - maybe consider a slightly different goal? Here’s the #TeamAndMore challenge for NaNoWriMo:
Head over to the Open Call page and look through the next three months.
Pick one, two, or even four anthologies that you would like to write for.
Commit to writing every day in November, whether that’s 1 word or 1000.
Get those stories written!
Not nearly as massive an undertaking as doing NaNo – and in the end, you’ll have 1d4 stories that you can get critiqued, polish up, and submit to a publisher!
