My mid-week report to you that covers the three major commitments I’ve made: to write, to edit, and to read.
Writing, Editing, Reading
Down to the wire!
This past week? 10300 words, so I’m now at 123k for the manuscript as a whole. Two scenes left to go. I went BICHOK 7/7 days. Got feedback on the short story and will be shipping that off tomorrow.
Frankly, right now I’m exhausted. I’m going to go collapse into bed and finish this tomorrow.
Commitments for this week are simple:
Finish the first draft of Sigils and get it off to my editor.
Complete that short story!

I got my schedule for LibertyCon! Excited to see this happen. I have zero idea about how I ended up on the World Building panel, but heaven know’s I’ll have a blast with it if they don’t bump me for someone else! Oh, and doing a reading with Julie Frost? That’s definitely something to look forward to :) All the other events are going to be cool, too. I’m going to be doing all this with some really fantastic people.
Now, if you don’t mind, sleep is calling. Well - not so much calling as getting ready to drag me off into the netherworld. Which is kind of what Sigils is all about, so maybe this is my muse trying to get my attention. Who knows? You will, next week, when I tell you about How I Finished My First Novel At The Last Minute, No, Really!
