I am envious! I've never gotten to play many TRPGs period and even fewer in person. I've played some Rolemaster Unified though the group I was in ended explosively one evening because of politics *sigh* I'd love to learn HARP but no one on the Iron Crown discord would ever answer when I requested a game to learn in, so I gave up.
It's hard to find a group. My wife and I are tremendously fortunate that we have a couple of close friends in the area who like gaming, so we've been playing in a monthly D&D 5E game with them. That's the first real group we've had since college, though.
Keep an eye on the gaming room at LibertyCon - there's a number of folks who will do one-shots with various systems. I've played in a couple, and it's great fun.
I got involved in an intro to D&D last year at LC and it did lead to being invited to join the DM’s online Pathfinder game - and I’m still playing in it now :) Would love to have the in person experience but I’ll take what I can get!
I'm staying tuned to see what the critter is. Please get the critter trail cam!
